Friday Night Racing

Kick off your weekend the right way at Clarks Beach Yacht Club. Friday Night Racing is all about getting out on the water, taking in the sunset over the Manukau Harbour, and enjoying a bit of friendly competition with great company.

Friday Night Racing is designed to accommodate trailer sailors looking for casual twilight competition on the harbour, with race nights specifically scheduled to line up with high tides.

Every boat type is welcome, but if you're looking to sail, consider volunteering to crew on a trailer sailor. We're on a mission to bring the trailer sailor fleet back to strength at Clarks Beach—know someone with a boat who needs a push to get out there? Spread the word and bring them along!

Event Details & Schedule

• When: Friday evenings throughout the season (check the Sailing Calendar for specific dates - Use link button below)

• Briefing: 5:30 PM at the clubhouse

• On the Water: Immediately following the briefing

• Wrap-up: Finish around 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

• Bar: The bar will be open
