Come along and experience all that our club has to offer
Thinking about getting into Sailing?
It's cheaper and easier than you think!
Ages 9-80 and of all abilities, anybody can do it.
To learn more about our club and what we can offer please come along to a club sailing day (ideally at least 60 minutes before the race starts) and ask at the club house– the helpers there will introduce you to our committee members who you will find to be a great source in answering any of your questions or email

Membership to CBYC gives you:
Access to the club facilities on sailing/race days
The ability to sign up for our courses and attend our events
Friendly advice and support from other club members
Use of the club’s fleet of Optimists and Sunbursts (on an as available basis)
The opportunity to be part of a great group of people
Senior Membership includes affiliation with Yachting New Zealand.
Volunteers are always welcome, training can be provided where needed. You don't have to be a sailor to join in.

Membership fees
HOW MUCH?
These are Annual Fees. Renewal Date for all is 1st June Each Year
Family - Max 2 Adults & Max 4 Children up to 17 years sailing or non sailing
(YNZ Affiliation fee included in membership fee) $200.00
Family - Max 2 persons sailing or non sailing (YNZ Affiliation fee included in membership fee) $150.00
Senior - Person 18 yrs of age & over (YNZ Affiliation fee included in membership fee) $90.00
Junior - Persons 17 years of age and under (YNZ Affiliation fee included in membership fee) $50.00
Learn To Sail - All Ages (YNZ Affiliation fee included in membership fee) $200.00
Social Member - Non Sailing (YNZ Affiliation fee included in membership fee) $45.00
Notes:
No additional charges are applicable for club sailing days.
Entry fees apply for CBYC New Years Regatta, other events may have additional charges i.e. Club Camp.
Learn to Sail includes use of club supplied Plastic Optimists & life jackets
Learn to Sail program fee does not include Club Membership fee. A separate membership form is required
Clarks Beach Yacht club membership period is from 1 June - 31 May

Boat Storage - Subject to availability, Charge per boat $50.00 p.a.

Sunburst - Use of boat per sailing day $ Free
