Volunteering
It takes a team of volunteers to run a club sailing day
CBYC always needs volunteers to help run enjoyable, safe events. It’s fun and rewarding, and you’ll be part of a great group of people.
We need people to join the club as members, and assist us with:
- On the water race management
- On the water manning of safety boats
- Club housed based race management
- Kitchen duty – preparing food, bbq cooking, serving, cleaning up afterwards on race days, prize givings, etc
- Power Boat, Club yachts and clubhouse maintenance
- Club admin and event management
- Any other area you want to assist in
CBYC offer volunteers training courses in conjunction with:
- Race management
- Learn to sail instructor
- Race Coach
- Regatta Coach
- Performance Coach
